Feedback and Complaints Policy

This policy sets out how an attendee may provide feedback or issue a complaint regarding an event or decision made by a member of the Game Team.

Feedback Policy

The Equinox Institute Game Team encourages anyone within our community to provide feedback or concerns to us via email at EquinoxInstituteLRP@gmail.com.

Where we receive feedback, we will review this and will look to revert back, where appropriate, as a Game Team within one calendar month of receipt. Alternatively, we may choose to issue our response publicly to members of our community (via our Developer Diaries series posted across our website, Facebook, and Discord) where we feel the feedback and our response are of relevance to all our members.

We will also seek feedback during and after our events from individual attendees. Information on how this can be provided will be emailed out to attendees before and after the event.

Complaints Policy

It is possible that during an event an attendee may have a complaint which they wish to raise against a member of the Game Team in respect of the rules. Should they wish to do so, they should follow the process below:

  • Where there is a dispute with respect to the rules, the attendee must first bring this to the attention of a member of The Equinox Institute Game Team who will make a ruling. This ruling may be disputed once following which, if the Game Team member asserts their position – this is held to be correct and must be obeyed by the attendee.
  • Rules disputes may be escalated to the Head of Game (Chris ‘Lambie’ Lamb) whose ruling is final.

Any violation of the rules or any of our policies can be reported to any member of the Game Team or to the Head of Game at anytime. The Equinox institute Game Team will investigate any complaints made to them in a thorough and impartial manner and will endeavour to be balanced in our treatment.
