Equinox 47 is a joint-enterprise established between the Equinox Institute and the Central Paranatural Bureau for the protection of RAF Fylingdales from paranatural interference.
RAF Fylingdales provides early warning capabilities to both the UK and US by tracking potential threats such as ballistic missiles and space debris – making it a site of strategic importance to both countries. Due to the covert nature of the work carried out by both member organisations, Equinox 47 does not operate out of RAF Fylingdales itself but instead out of a mountain rescue hut located within the North York Moors National Park.
Due to the nature of its work, Equinox Fylingdales lacks specialisation in any particular area. Instead the Cell has garnered a positive reputation within both the Institute and Bureau for its ability to adapt to whatever is required of them. Currently the Cell can provide assistance in military missions, medical examination and on-going paranatural investigations as necessary.
The Court and the Director of the CPB continue to be thankful for Equinox 47’s on-going work in protecting the people of both the United Kingdom and the United States from hostile actors seeking to use the paranatural to their own ends. Both organisations continue to wish for the operations continued success.
Major Historical Events
Equinox Fylingdales was founded in January 1964 following growing concerns within both the Institute and Bureau that an up-tick in paranatural phenomena may have been a hostile action originating from behind the Iron Curtain. Both organisations agreed to strengthen ties with one another and secure sites of military and paranatural interest. While other Cells were created with similar objectives, only Equinox Fylingdales remains to this day.
The [REDACTED] of the original team in January 2021 under the command of [REDACTED] of the Equinox Institute and [REDACTED] of the Central Paranatural Bureau is under on-going investigation as part of [REDACTED].
