Equinox 102

Aka: Equinox cHESTER

Location: Chester, Cheshire
Classification: Reconnaissance
Total Number of Staff: [REDACTED]
Also known as:  “The Constabulary

Equinox Chester is a Reconnaissance-class Cell carrying out front-line investigations and acting as first responders to paranatural activity in the ceremonial county of Cheshire in North West England.

While Equinox 102 is officially based out of the Cheshire Constabulary Headquarters located at Clemonds Hey, Winsford, the Cell has a wide area of jurisdiction and is often tasked with investigating any and all paranatural activity which comes to its attention within the approximately 946 square miles for which it is responsible.

Due to the nature of its formation, Equinox Chester boasts close connections not only to the Cheshire Police Force but also to other territorial police forces and law enforcement agencies in operation within the United Kingdom. Because of this the Cell has access to significant amounts of data on potential witnesses to paranatural incidents or perpetrators of crimes related to the paranatural – allowing it to quickly identify, apprehend and interview any such individuals before further damage can be done. Members of the Cell have also been asked to carry out [REDACTED] when instructed to do so by members of the Court.

Due to the nature of its work, contact between Equinox Chester and other Cells is extremely limited and highly regimented. The nature of any interaction between Equinox Chester and other Cells will be dictated by members of the Court and Spokespersons for such Cells are advised to follow procedure accordingly.

Major Historical Events

Equinox 102 underwent restructure in 2021 following [REDACTED] in 2020. Agent [REDACTED] was eventually apprehended and killed by Graeme Brass, following which standard incident obfuscation protocols were activated, including the editing of CCTV footage. Following the incident it was discovered that original CCTV capturing the incident had been made available to journalists by an unknown source. This resulted in the arrest and subsequent trial of Lead Officer Graeme Brass for the [REDACTED] of Agent [REDACTED] during which he was suspended from active duty. Graeme Brass was cleared of all charges by Chester Crown Court in February 2021 following an expedited process led and supported by the Institute.

Investigations into [REDACTED] remain on-going and are to be carried out only by Cells with no contact with Equinox 102.
